Jon Hill

Group CEO

Jon Hill, Group CEO of DMC Canotec established the company in 1991. Jon has a financial background following a career in commercial banking in a previous life. Jon is responsible for the day to day running of the business. It has been his ambition to deliver a customer-focused company providing business machines and high quality business solutions to a wide variety of customers.

Simon Davey

Managing Director

Simon joined DMC Canotec in 2016 as Managing Director. Simon spent 26 years in financial services including roles in strategy and sales leadership and brings a wealth of experience in delivering business value to clients. Simon joins at an exciting time for the company and will complement an already strong Board of Directors.

Justin Nicholson

Sales Director

Justin Nicholson, Co-founder and Director of the business, has had a hands on approach with our customers from day one. Justin is responsible for managing the business’ team of direct sales account managers while also looking after a number of large corporate accounts.

David Newman

Sales Director

David founded Canotec in 1992 and has been hands on ever since, helping to bring together DMC and Canotec into one award winning national team. As well as looking after some of the Key Accounts, David heads up the Legal Sector Team. David is a passionate skier and former instructor so if you ask him nicely, he may throw in some free lessons!

Mark Allen

Director

Mark joined following the merger with Canotec, where he continues to head up the SW Division operations. With a wealth of experience, Mark has spent over 20 years in leadership roles within the IT and business technology sector. He is responsible for the development and management of our innovative IT services business ‘GO2 IT Solutions’.

Phil Kavanagh

Sales Director

Phil joined the board of DMC Canotec in 2014 as the group sales director having worked in the industry for 35 years. Phil’s role within DMC Canotec is to oversee direct sales. This not only involves supporting, advising and motivating the sales teams on a daily basis but working with the board to agree future strategy and direction to sustain DMC Canotec’s success.

Steve Cook

Group Finance Director

Steve Cook joined in 2012 and was elected to the board as Group Finance Director in 2015. Steve is responsible for financial operations and strategic development. With 20 years’ experience in varying industries alongside his Associate with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, he remains dedicated to ‘value based’ management for effective leadership and overall corporate governance.

Andy Atkins is the Service Director responsible for all aspects of our service delivery. With almost 30 years’ experience in the industry, Andy ensures that we maintain our high standards and hit our SLA targets consistently. He is always looking for new ways to innovate and be proactive in a traditionally reactive industry.

Steve Cook

Group Finance Director

Steve joined dmc in January 2012 and was elected to the board as Group Finance Director in May 2015. Steve is responsible for the group’s financial operations and strategic development. With 20 years’ experience from varying industries alongside his Associate with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, he remains dedicated to ’value based’ management for effective leadership and overall corporate governance.

Steve Maple

Group Financial Controller

Steve Maple is the Group Financial Controller and is responsible for running the finance department, with a team of 9 reporting to him. Having trained in an accountancy practice, Steve moved to industry and now has 18 years’ experience of producing financial information, liaising with auditors and always seeking ways in which the finance department can add value to the business.

Julie Peterson

Croydon Accounts Manager

Julie Peterson is Croydon Accounts Manager and has been with us for over 19 years. Passionate and committed, she has been instrumental in overseeing many of the key changes to process and procedure as the business has developed. Julie is now responsible for the smooth running of the Purchase Ledger, payments to all our suppliers and payroll.

Shannon Donovan

Service Billing Administrator

Shannon started in July 2014 as an NVQ Student studying Customer Service Level 2. Having completed her qualification, Shannon moved on to be responsible for the handling of service contracts and assist with invoice queries. Since this time, Shannon has moved to the Accounts team as Service Billing Administrator. She is looking forward to excelling in her job role and taking on the challenges that lay ahead.

Cherin Elliott

Customer Services Manager

Cherin Elliott has been with us for over 11 years with an undeniable passion for her role as Customer Service Manager, she manages a team who understand the importance of providing exemplary service and consistently deliver the highest levels of customer service. Cherin holds a strong belief that ‘today’s youth are our future’ and therefore is an advocate for the apprenticeship program, not only for the next generation to develop an essential skill set but to maintain our core values throughout their career.

Sam Findlay

Sam Findlay started his career at DMC Canotec as a 16 year old NVQ Student studying Customer Service. Having passed all qualifications, Sam took on a second NVQ in Business Admin. After managing all aspects of Work Control and showing true ambition for providing supreme service for our customers, Sam how now progressed even further taking over the role of Customer Service Manager.

Katharine Steedman

Customer Service Area Planner

Katharine is currently training to be the South West and Ringwood work controller. With 5 years’ experience in the customer service sector, Katharine is looking forward to developing relationships with colleagues and customers alike as well as furthering her skills and knowledge within the role in anticipation to progress within the company.

Nicole Donovan

Customer Service Assistant

Nikki Donovan joined DMC Canotec in July 2016 and is currently studying for an NVQ qualification in Customer Service.  This being her first role, Nikki is keen to gain core skills and broaden her knowledge of the business in order to excel in the Customer Service sector.

Brian Bignell

HR Director

Brian Bignell is the Company’s HR Director. With a business degree in HR and office management, Brian is CIPD qualified and has worked for the Company for ten years. He previously worked for corporate companies and SME’s bringing a great deal of knowledge and expertise to our business. He strongly believes that people are the greatest assets to any business and ensures that people management plays a key part of our business strategy. He is a dedicated and influential member of the senior management team and takes a proactive role to ensure we meet and exceed our goals.

Phil Bishop

IT Support

IT Support technician, Phil Bishop has over 16 years’ IT expertise and joined DMC Canotec in 2015. Phil is part of a fast growing internal IT team focusing on troubleshooting both hardware and software and providing internal support. He has a quietly confident manner and explains things in layman’s terms, Phil’s in-depth knowledge has proved invaluable to the business.

Justin Nicholson

Sales Director

Justin Nicholson, Co-founder and Director of the business, has had a hands on approach with our customers from day one. Justin is responsible for managing the business’ team of direct sales account managers while also looking after a number of large corporate accounts.

Justin Cole

Stores manager

JC is our Stores manager with 25 years’ service and is loyal and committed to delivering excellent customer service. He played an integral part in the development of DMC Canotec, first as an engineer then as stores manager. His team provide a vital link between engineer and customer, tightly controlling the movement and rotation of parts and consumables required by the service engineers. His goal is to constantly review and fine tune processes that keep stock levels full, engineers happy and customers printing.

Sam Saunders

Marketing Manager

Sam Saunders joined DMC Canotec in 2004. Sam displayed a clear talent for product knowledge and became the Panasonic Product Manager in 2005. Sam was nominated for participation in DMC’s Career Development programme and became the Company’s first Marketing Communications Manager. Main responsibilities include promoting the Company’s products and services, developing and implementing marketing strategies and managing internal and external communications.

Dan Jenner

Associate Director of Solutions Support

Dan Jenner joined in 2001 as a Service Engineer and has over 20 years in the industry. Nominated for participation in DMC Canotec’s Career Development Programme, he was appointed London Service Manager in 2007.  Dan covers remote support of solutions and supports engineers with onsite hardware and software issues, ensuring the highest standards of customer care are met.

Alex Dove

Pre Sales Implementation Consultant

Alex is one of DMC Canotec’s Pre Sales Implementation Consultants. As an experienced individual with extensive knowledge in IT products, services and systems, as well as mobile communications, Alex’s focus is to assist customers in simplifying their processes through managed print, document management, document workflow and document security solutions.

Jo Smith

Customer Care and Training

Jo Smith is one of the company’s Customer Care and Training specialists. With over 24 years’ experience in Customer Care at Canon, Jo specialises in Colour devices, more specifically with ImagePress machines. Key responsibilities include sales support, account reviews and portal support. Jo provides customers with device training, where her passion for customer service excellence shines through.

Kat Young

Customer Care and Training

Kat Young joined the Customer Service Team in 2013, having a background in service related roles for the past 5 years. Kat started her DMC Canotec journey as the London work controller. Having mastered the art of understanding the area and clients’ needs, wanted to expand her knowledge of our customer base and has recently moved across to our Customer Care team.

Kevin Brown

Solutions Consultant

Experienced Solutions Consultant, Kevin Brown joined DMC Canotec in 2014 greatly strengthening the Professional Services department. Kevin has worked in the industry for many years with experience in solutions from a wide range of manufacturers in all network environments. He is constantly looking to extend his already sterling knowledge base in the industry’s ever changing environment.

Owen Booty

Software Solutions

Owen Booty joined in 2007 and has a wealth of knowledge covering the entire document life cycle. From a legal background, Owen has a BSc (Hons) from Bournemouth University, holds qualifications in Consultancy from the BCS as well as Prince 2 Practitioner, ITIL v3 and industry qualifications for all solutions he works with. Owen works with clients to develop requirements into functional solutions.

Paul Droguet

Pre Sales Consultant

Paul joined DMC Canotec in 2015 as a Pre Sales Consultant. Paul is an Australian with over 20 years’ experience in IT consultancy and support and have worked in a range of areas within the IT industry. These included 5 years in IT printer distribution and 15+ years at the reseller level as a Business Development Manager specialising in solutions for printing and imaging.

Roger Mitchell

Helpdesk Manager

Roger Mitchell joined us as a field service engineer and has fourteen years’ experience within the company. With the merger of DMC, Canotec and BCL he has a newly defined role of Business Helpdesk Manager, as a key player on our evolving helpdesk team, this role makes the most of his exceptional troubleshooting expertise and client handling skills.

Scott Biggs

Solutions Consultant

Scott joined DMC Canotec in 2008 when he advised, built and maintained small business networks.  Since then he has moved into Printing / Document solutions as a Solutions Consultant. Scott works with our clients from concept to launch with products such as uniFLOW, eCopy and PaperCut, helping deliver a simpler, more effective printing solution.

Stephanie Peters

Purchasing Manager

Stephanie Peters joined DMC as the Purchasing Manager across all copier brands, in July 2015 with the main focus to drive costing down and profits up. She is commercially driven, customer focused and a highly influential buyer with 19 years’ sales and purchasing experience. With a growing purchasing team under her umbrella, she enjoys sharing her knowledge and past experience with her team.

James Overton

Regional Sales Director

James Overton, Regional Sales Director, is responsible for running the Direct Sales London Operation at Head Office. Responsibilities include developing sales strategies, supporting team and account managers on new and existing opportunities, marketing and telemarketing of our products, services and managing key accounts. James has been with the business for over 15 years.

Claire Anderson

Sales Account Manager

Claire Anderson joined the team in July 2016 having worked within the telecommunications industry for over 15 years. Since joining Claire has significantly grown her knowledge around the technology and solutions provided to our client base. She is excited about the opportunities ahead and to growing within the business.

Ben Miles

Sales Account Manager

Having joined DMC Canotec in 2008 as part of the Customer Service NVQ Scheme, Ben has since worked within numerous departments, with his last role being Logistics Manager. Ben is equipped with great product and solution knowledge, as well as knowing the business inside out. He now focuses his skills on Account Management and Sales.

Chris Place

Sales Account Manager

Chris Place, a Ringwood based Account manager joined the business in 2014 after a combined 30 years at Xerox and IBM in their Production Print divisions. Chris is now utilising his experience and knowledge in the Commercial Print sector to market the extensive range of Canon + Oce technology, specifically in the Education Sector.

Elliott Shepherd

Sales Account Manager

Elliott Shepherd is an Account Manager based at head office. With a first class honours degree, he joined our sales team development programme in 2012. He has worked tirelessly to develop his skills and is one of our key account managers with a well-established portfolio of clients which he is responsible for. Elliott specialises in the following industry sectors Hospitality, Construction, Education and Legal.

Ian Coldicott

Installations and Contracts Manager

Ian Coldicott joined DMC Canotec over 4 and half years ago, starting his journey as the London area planner. As the business grew as did Ian, moving up to became the Team leader for work control and again to his current role. Ian has always worked under the ethos of putting the customer first and has gained great knowledge of our procedures, making him perfect for the role of Installations and Contracts Manager.

James Desouza

Solutions Sales Manager

James Desouza is the company’s Solutions Sales Executive. With over 20 years in the industry, he has been with us since 2012. James has an HNC in mechatronics but actively enjoys the personal contact within his role and has thrived within our industry sector. His main focus is to identify, conduct research on vertical and horizontal markets and build new business opportunities to develop.

Kevin Tate

Sales Operation Manager

Kevin Tate is responsible for managing our sales order process and reporting. Kev is the link between sales, logistics, accounts and customer service. With over 21 years at DMC, he has worked across a number of departments and has a wealth of experience. Starting in Customer Service he was soon promoted to Customer Service Manager, moving on to later manage key IT & Projects, finally settling on his present role.

Nick Martin

Sales Manager

Nick Martin, Direct sales manager in Croydon brings a wealth of expertise to DMC Canotec, with over 29 years in the industry. Nick is responsible for managing the sales team performance, he is passionate about ensuring existing clients receive the best customer care, with ongoing reviews to ensure DMC meet changing customer needs.

Peter Dove

Sales Account Manager

Peter Dove is a Senior Sales Account Manager within DMC. Having started his sales career in 1980, 25 years have been in the Business IT marketplace, culminating in various senior management positions. These have been both with value added Resellers and a leading Global Manufacturer. He has a plentiful experience in the management of significant national accounts.

Sales Manager

Steve Barratt, Sales manager in DMC Canotec’s Ringwood office joined the business in 2011,coming to us with a wealth of experience. Steve currently manages a team of account managers, his responsibilities include: setting targets, objectives and performance management. He also has his own client base managing key accounts.

Val Keegan

Sales Account Manager

Val Keegan is an Account Manager based in the field covering the North West, she has over 20 years experience in Account Management and joined our Print Audit team in 2007, she now manages some of our well established customers based in the North of England which includes regular Account reviews, portal support and device training.

Graham Putland

London Service Manager

Graham Putland has 35 years in Copier service industry and 30 years in management. He is fully trained in both Canon and Ricoh devices and is now responsible for looking after the Engineers within the London region. Graham monitors and responds to machines with a high call rate in the London region. He is responsible for the maintenance of service quality within his region.

John Mulcahy

South Service Manager

John Mulcahy has 30 years in Copier service industry. He has been fully trained in both Canon and Kyocera devices and is now responsible for looking after the Engineers within the South West region. John monitors and responds to machines with a high call rate in the South West area. He is responsible for the maintenance of service quality within his region.

Steve Anzinger Cooper

South Service Manager

Steve has 26 years in the copier service industry having previously served in the Royal Navy. He has been fully trained in Canon devices and IT support and is responsible for looking after the Engineers within the Southern Team. Steve monitors and responds to machines with a high call rate in the Southern area and is tasked with maintaining Service quality for his region.

Mark Stinson

Service Excellence Manager

Mark Stinson is the business Service Excellence Manager. Mark has been in the industry for 18 years now and takes personal pride in making sure the business deliver on its promises to its customers. Mark has been with DMC Canotec for nearly 12 years and brings a wealth of service delivery experience to the team with a Vision very much focused on the customer & future technology. His personal goal is to make sure the company is recognised as the John Lewis of the photocopier world.

Mike Way

Web Developer

Mike Way is the lead developer in the service excellence team. Mike has been in the web development industry for over 25 years and has a visual eye for the company’s websites and portals making it possible for the business to share key information with its customers at a touch of a button. Mike’s vision and passion is helping the business remain as a leading player within its sector by helping the business offer something different to its customers.

Mark Allen

Director

Mark Joined DMC in 2013 as part of the Canotec acquisition, where he continues to head up the South West Division operations. He brings a wealth of experience to the organisation, having spent more than 20 years in leadership roles within the IT and business technology sector. Mark is also responsible for the development and management of our innovative IT services business “GO2 IT Solutions” providing our clients professional IT consultancy and a portfolio of services built around our unique cloud offering.

Duane Flavell

Account Director

Duane is Account Director for the South West team, responsible for running his team and key accounts in the South West as well as national and global accounts. Responsibilities include developing sales strategies, supporting the team and individual account managers on new and existing opportunities. Duane has been in the industry for over 20 years and enjoys watching Bath rugby and a round of golf, when time permits.

Richard Vinall

Account Director

Richard Vinall, Bristol’s Sales Manager runs his team of talented account managers targeted to generate new business opportunities and manage a number of key accounts. Richard has been with DMC Cantoec for almost 5 years and is responsible for supporting his staff with both new and existing opportunities as well as managing his own key accounts.
