The 9600 x 2400 dpi print resolution delivers detailed and vibrant photo lab quality output. This is achieved by Canon's FINE technology with 1pl ink droplets. ContrastPLUS technology with an additional dye based black ink brings extra depth and contrast to photos.

Fast output

Print a photo lab quality 4" x 6" borderless photo in approximately 36 seconds in Standard mode. Enjoy rapid borderless printing right up to an A4 size. Or copy at up to 30 copies per minute in mono and up to 24 cpm in colour.

Long-lasting prints

Canon's ChromaLife100 system of print head, new formulation inks and Canon genuine photo papers preserves your memories producing long-lasting beautiful photos.

Direct photo printing from an array of sources

Make the most of direct photo printing from 35mm film/slides, PictBridge compatible cameras/camcorders and memory cards. The PIXMA MP800 premium multifunctional also provides direct photo printing from camera phones via the IrDA interface or an optional Bluetooth® unit.

Extra large LCD viewer for ease of use

The integrated 3.5" colour LCD viewer simplifies operation. Manage photo selection and printing formats via the viewer without connecting to a PC. A suite of software tools offers a range of image enhancement functions for unlimited creative freedom.

Built-in Film Adapter Unit and Scanner

Print directly from 6x 35mm film (negative or positive) or 4x 35mm mounted slides using the built-in Film Adapter Unit. Or scan with 2400 x 4800 dpi resolution for reproduction of your traditional photo prints. A USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface speeds up image transfer to your PC.

Advanced media handling

Advanced media handling includes direct DVD/CD label printing and copying, automatic double-sided printing and two versatile paper trays for holding both photo and plain paper.
