EEC Directive

Directive states “peripherals, such as printers, should not emit noise which distracts attention or disturbs speech”, Member states have been asked to bring into force laws, regulations and administrative provisions necessary to comply with this Directive by 31 December 1992.

Quiet Technology

Panasonic have invested over two years in researching and developing this quiet diamond shaped printhead, together with other innovations in quiet technology. Panasonic Quiet Printers are quieter than normal matrix, popular ink-jet and laser printers (Independently assessed using the ECMA 74 noise level testing standard).

The KXP2023 incorporates the latest in ergonomic design, with particular emphasis placed on “User Friendly” features which include a help disk, easy to use front control panel and paper setting facilities.
