“One day all Legal IT events will be like this!”… Just one of the many quotes from the 40 firms that attended our first “Agile Law Firm” event of 2016, a unique round table event sharing best practice, practical tips and technology innovation to help visionary firms in the UK to transform operational efficiency and customer service.
The oversubscribed event hosted by DMC Canotec and Claremont at Canon’s new UK showrooms in the heart of London’s Legal district was such a success that a second date has now been scheduled for 21st September.
The Agile Law Firm, #TheALFs16 for short, brought together Managing Partners, CEOs, COOs, Heads of IT & Facilities to hear first- hand from a number of leading firms on how their adoption of agile working practice was delivering significant returns and improvement across all elements of practice.
The invited guests, were given a unique insight into the agile transformation underway at Foot Anstey, Gowling WLG (UK) LLP & Wedlake Bell in addition to supporting examples from RPC, DAC Beechcroft and Lyons Davison. The event also featured an Agile Technology Expo where the guests could “play” on the latest in agile document production, capture, workflow, collaboration, mobility and security.
DMC Canotec partners Anexsys, Canon, Kutana, Net Documents, Nikec, Nuance eCopy, PaperRiver, Zylpha and Claremont were all on hand to share ideas and innovative answers to common challenges.
“An extremely well-run and informative event. I would not hesitate to recommend to others and entirely relevant to our practice.”
Registration is now open for Agile 2 on 30th June. Numbers are limited to just 40. To register your interest go to www.agilelawfirm.co.uk.

“By bringing together many of our customers to share first hand, their experiences, we are helping to create a peer to peer environment where valuable experience, best practice, innovative thinking and practical advice is all in the mix for the benefit of the firms that want to be part of our Agile initiative.”
“The whole concept of Agile is about delivering a more resilient, flexible and efficient approach to Legal services, harnessing premises, people, systems and process to achieve far greater returns.”
“The Legal market place is changing faster now than at any time in history, clients are getting more savvy and demanding, knowledge workers more dynamic and mobile and all against a backdrop of fee pressure. Firms most likely to thrive in this time of change are going to the ones most capable of adapting to change and adopting smarter ways of delivering services.”David Newman
